Official Contest Rules: Spring Market

1. SPONSOR: The contest is sponsored by RAVN INC. o/a PRIVÉ Plate (the "Sponsor"). This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Informa Canada Inc. or the One Of A Kind Show(20 Eglinton Ave W, Suite 1200, Toronto, ON, M4R 1K8). Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the contest must be directed to the Sponsor.

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open only to legal residents of Ontario, Canada who have reached the age of majority (19+) at the time of entry. Employees, agents, or representatives of the Sponsor, their respective affiliates, and any person living in the same household as these individuals are not eligible to enter.

3. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on Sunday April 12, 2026 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (the "Contest Period").

4. HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

  • Instagram Entry: (i) Follow and tag @PRIVEPLATE @OOAK_TORONTO; (ii) Take a selfie of yourself during the demo and/or with the Official PRIVÉ Banner; (iii) Share on Instagram Story and/or post (iiii) Tag one or more friend in the comments; (iiiii) Like the official contest post.
  • No Purchase Entry (AMOE): To enter no purchase is necessary.
  • Email Entry (No Social Media Required): Send an email with your full name and contact information to prive@theplate.com by Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. These entries will be included in the random draw under the same terms as Instagram entries.
  • Entry Limits: Limit of one (1) entry per person, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.

5. PRIZE DESCRIPTION: There are three (3) prizes available to be won:

  • Grand Prize (1): A multi-course in-home dinner for two (2) prepared by Chef Ivan Bekcic (ARV $1,000.00 CAD). Subject to Geography and Kitchen requirements below.
  • Second Prize (1): A basket of PRIVÉ artisanal products and curated items (ARV $500.00 CAD).
  • Third Prize (1): A basket of PRIVÉ artisanal offerings (ARV $250.00 CAD).
  • Prize Conditions: Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Shipping:Second and Third Prizes will be mailed to winners at the Sponsor’s expense via standard ground shipping. Sponsor is not responsible for prizes lost, damaged, or stolen in transit.
  • Exclusions: The prize excludes alcohol, gratuities, and excludes any and all transportation costs to or from the winner’s residence for any party. The Sponsor is responsible only for the cost of food and the Chef’s service. Any travel, parking, or commuting costs incurred by the winner, their guests, or required for the fulfillment of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products/services. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
  • Geography Clause: Winner’s residence must be located within 50km of the GTA/Toronto. If the winner’s residence is outside this radius, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate dining location or disqualify the entrant.
  • Kitchen Requirements: The winner must provide a safe, sanitary, and functional kitchen environment for the Chef to perform the service. This includes, but is not limited to: a working stove, oven, sink with hot/cold running water, and clear counter space. The Sponsor reserves the right to inspect the kitchen area upon arrival; if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsanitary, the Sponsor may cancel the service without a substitute prize being awarded.
  • Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: It is the sole responsibility of the winner to disclose any food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions for themselves and their guest at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled dinner. The Sponsor and Chef shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions or medical issues arising from undisclosed dietary requirements. The Chef reserves the right to decline certain menu substitutions if they compromise the integrity of the meal or safety of the service.
  • Alcohol Policy: The Sponsor will not provide or serve alcoholic beverages. Any alcohol consumed during the dinner must be provided by the winner, and the winner assumes all liability for the responsible consumption of alcohol by themselves and their guest.
  • Expiration of Prize: The Prize must be redeemed within six (6) months of the winner being declared. After this period, the Prize will be void and no compensation will be provided.
  • Reschedule: The Sponsor reserves the right to reschedule the dinner service due to illness, extreme weather, or unforeseen emergencies. In such an event, the Sponsor will work with the winner to find an alternative date within 90 days.


6. WINNER SELECTION: On or about April 17, 2026, three (3) eligible entries will be selected by random draw. The first name drawn will be eligible for the Grand Prize; the second name drawn for the Second Prize; and the third name drawn for the Third Prize.

  • Alternate Winner Selection: If the first-selected entrant cannot be reached, fails the skill-testing question, or does not return the Release Form within the allotted time, the Sponsor will conduct up to two (2) additional random draws from the remaining eligible entries. If after three (3) attempts no winner is declared, the Prize will remain unawarded.
  • Judging and Decisions: All decisions of the Sponsor with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including, without limitation, the eligibility of entries and the selection of the winner, are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal.


7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The selected entrant will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to: (i) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid; and (ii) sign and return a Declaration and Release Form (the 'Release') within 48 hours of notification. The Release confirms compliance with these Rules and releases the Sponsor from all liability in connection with the Contest and the Prize. If the entrant does not respond within 48 hours they will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

  • Alternate Winner Notification: The Sponsor will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact the selected entrant within 48 hours. If the selected entrant does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, they will be disqualified, their right to the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. All prize claims must be finalized by April 30, 2026.

8. RELEASE AND PUBLICITY: As outlined in section (7) By entering, the winner agrees to sign a Declaration and Release Form, releasing the Sponsor, Informa Canada Inc., the One Of A Kind Show, and Instagram from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or the use/misuse of the Prize.

9. PRIVACY: By entering the contest and subscribing to the newsletter, participants agree to receive marketing communications from the Sponsor. Personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Company’s and Sponsor privacy policy.

10. THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER: This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Informa Canada Inc.(including the One Of A Kind Show, located at 20 Eglinton Ave W, Suite 1200, Toronto, ON, M4R 1K8). You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram or Informa Canada Inc. Both Instagram and Informa Canada Inc. are completely released from all liability by each entrant in this Contest. By participating, entrants completely release these third parties from any responsibility or liability related to this promotion.

11. LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, partners, and representatives from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance/use of the prize subject below:

  • Property and Home Liability: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to grant the Sponsor and Chef access to their private residence for the duration of the service. The Sponsor, its affiliates, and the Chef shall not be held responsible for any pre-existing damage, or any accidental damage to the winner’s property, appliances, flooring, or kitchenware occurring during the fulfillment of the prize. The winner assumes all risk associated with hosting a third-party service provider in their home.
  • Subjective Quality: The Sponsor makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the 'quality' or 'taste' of the meal. The prize is provided 'as is' and the winner acknowledges that culinary preference is subjective.


12. GOVERNING LAW: This contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
